The vast spectrum of civil cases presents a plethora of opportunities for investigative evidence documented by camera. Whatever kind of case you have, our investigators have extensive experience with, and the requisite technical knowledge of, the most sophisticated cameras and technology in the business. We capture evidence professionally and in a manner that will stand up during litigation.

Whether by video or photograph, Inter-State Investigative Services is known throughout Arizona for its ability to accurately document people, settings and objects for clients, courts, and juries. Our work has consistently provided a lucid visual record of all types of liability incidents, witness testimony, and expository objects.

IF A PICTURE IS WORTH 1000 WORDS, IMAGINE WHAT IT DOES AS EVIDENCE

Because our team is well versed in the principle legal requirements that have to be met to admit a photograph into evidence, the photographs we take are highly relevant and easily authenticated. Whether evidence is admitted is at the discretion of the trial judge, we understand the necessity to be able to testify that any photograph we’ve taken is accurate and correct, as well as being able to verify the chain of custody of all of our photographs. We work tirelessly with attorneys to have a firm grasp of all aspects of the issues involved so that all of our photographs capture evidence that will help build our case or undermine the opposing side’s case.

EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT, WHILE OUR STANDARDS REMAIN THE SAME

Whether the case involved requires photographs or video captured during surveillance, or at the scene of an injurious event, or during witness testimony, our standards entail only the highest evidentiary quality. Our investigators are trained to capture footage in various special lighting and audio conditions. We pride ourselves in capturing photographic and video evidence under conditions that require absolute discretion, in situations, for example, where the subject cannot know they are being filmed.

The need to maintain the integrity of evidence is paramount. Injury scenes are captured deftly without altering the scenes in any way. We go out of our way to not misrepresent any scene or piece of evidence. Our approach is to provide an accurate, unbiased record of whatever evidence our clients need. Our attention to detail has, on occasion, even revealed aspects to a case that were unnoticed at the time the evidence was captured by camera. We are overly thorough with the photographs and video that we obtain as we have learned that they can also help us recall what was observed at scenes, so we can provide exacting details in court.

GETTING THE FULLEST PICTURE (OR FOOTAGE)

In some cases, like when a client has been injured, or property damaged, we use our cameras to document the injuries right after they’ve occurred, and then follow-up throughout the healing/recovery process. Our detailed process helps capture what our clients have endured so the court can fully appreciate it without having to rely solely on testimony.

When it comes to documenting the scene of an event, our work helps preserve visual evidence, such as skid marks, debris, and roadway conditions. We take detailed measurements along with photographs/video footage from the views of all involved. We can also provide expert testimony via video footage by documenting in real time as said experts examine and evaluate a scene.
